Tree of the Day!

Each morning at ten o'clock during the Festival, we will be featuring a different Christmas tree. Whilst we appreciate most people won't have their own Christmas trees up quite yet, we plan to include some from previous Christmas Tree Festivals at St. Mary le Tower, and some from the homes of our community over recent years.

This morning we present - the Chorister Tree!

This Tree was from 2016, which seems a very long time ago now... Each group in the community of St. Mary le Tower has the opportunity to design and produce their own tree for the Festival. For the 2016 chorister tree each chorister made a small "chorister" ornament to represent themselves, and these decorated a tree near the altar. I think it's my favourite, but then I had two choristers in the choir at the time and know how much the children enjoyed making them.
